Rights and Responsibilities

The Vishima Kingdom represents the protection of natural rights and the promotion of social responsibility.

A natural (negative) right refers to the right of an individual not to be subjected to the actions of another person or group without reason, such as violating another's natural rights. Simply put, a person has the right to think, say and do what he wants without interference, as long as it does not harm others, because freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from slavery and right to private property are everything. . typical examples of such rights.

Social responsibility, especially the avoidance of actions harmful to society, is important from the point of view of natural rights because the absence of the first often leads to the violation of the second. For example, there is no natural right to allow a river to be polluted because it would have a negative impact on society in general. The natural rights of an individual do not prevent his duty to respect the natural rights of others.

We believe that natural rights are better than legal (positive) rights and are also threatened. Legal rights often determine what an individual can demand or have freedom from another, causing the violation of their natural rights and the rise of tyranny (usually under the guise of "social justice"). A free society is one that respects the natural rights of man.

As a micronation, we have no enforcement mechanisms to force our supporters to think, say or do anything they don't want to, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Social responsibility, whether it is to the environment, to other people or to something else, is (or will be) something the Empire of Vishima promotes through our many goals.
